The Metro Aluminum 2050 series is a thermally broken storefront system designed for exterior glazing applications where energy performance is a requirement. With a 2″ × 4 1/2″ frame profile and polyamide thermal break, it accommodates 15/16″ insulated glazing units, offering a balance between thermal efficiency and durability. The system is suited for climates where temperature control, condensation resistance, and energy savings are critical.

The 2050 series provides the same clean aesthetic and straightforward installation as Metro’s non-thermal lines, while delivering improved performance through thermal separation and deeper glazing pockets. Clear anodized and custom AAMA finishes are available to match architectural requirements.
